Fab Lab Camp

The Fab Lab Camp is a great way to introduce curious minds to a whole host of tools to unleash their creativity.

The Camp will have a morning and afternoon session. In the morning Campers will be introduced to Tinkercad (3d modeling software) and have the opportunity to design and print their creation. In the afternoon, students will use Corel Draw to for 2d designs and use the Trotec Lasers to cut and etch their creations using wood.

3rd—6th Grade

Sim Lab Camp

A Healthcare Simulation and Engineering experience your kids won’t soon forget. A 2-day camp that will expose students to today’s emerging healthcare and engineering fields.

Campers will get to:

  • Perform a health assessment on a high-fidelity human patient simulator.
  • Participate in a healthcare simulation as hands-on learner or simulation technician.
  • Design solution to identified problem.
  • Create innovation using 3D design software and printers.
  • Present innovated design to peers.
  • Compare and contrast designs.
  • Test solutions in simulation healthcare environment.
  • Reflect on experiences in healthcare simulation and fabrication lab.
  • Draw connections from camp experiences to future careers in healthcare and engineering.

Robotics Camp

Campers will have the opportunity to stretch their mental muscles with our Robotics camp.

The camp consists of a morning and afternoon session. In the morning campers will be introduced to Tinkercad (3d modeling software) and have the task of designing an apparatus to aid a robot in completing a task.

In the afternoon session the campers will get to build the robots to be used in the challenge and attached their 3d printed designs to the robots.
